The Gary and Mary West Foundation is 501(c)(3) private, non-operating foundation providing outcomes-based funding to support initiatives that lower the cost of healthcare to enable seniors to successfully age in place. Solely funded by Gary and Mary West, the Solana Beach-based foundation has awarded 534 grants totaling more than $212 million since its start in 2006.
Created by Roland and Ramona Sahm, the Sahm Family Foundation is a private family foundation based in Southern California. Its mission is to improve the welfare of children and seniors and to support the fine and performing arts. In 2019 the Sahm Family Foundation gave nearly $1 million in grants to local senior-focused organizations, making it one of the largest gifts ever given to San Diego’s aging population.

Domanica Foundation is a private family foundation that funds educational and social programs that work to enhance and enrich lives and foster empowerment and respect. Founded in 1994, the Texas-based organization primarily focuses on supporting social services that target hunger and homelessness and improve access to healthcare for the underserved. Domanica also offers educational scholarships for nontraditional students.
The Parker Foundation was founded on October 5, 1971 for charitable purposes leading to the betterment of life for all people of San Diego County. With a net endowment of $42 million, the Foundation has granted over $54 million since inception.
