San Diego Aging and Independence Services (“AIS”) – The California Department of Aging (CDA) administers programs that serve older adults, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, and residents in long-term care facilities throughout the State. These services are provided locally by contracted agencies. In San Diego County, AIS is the administrator that oversees a comprehensive portfolio of programs that provide services to help keep clients safe in their homes, promote healthy and vital living, and publicize positive contributions made by older adults and persons with disabilities.
