At a press conference outside the Norman Park Senior Center in Chula Vista, SDSCF announced its historic $1 million No Senior Alone initiative to end social isolation for vulnerable seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In partnership with the Sahm Family Foundation, SDSCF is making COVID-19 response grants to senior centers and service providers to expand programs and pilot new ways to mitigate the harmful effects of social isolation.
